Mi Kari Kerang II (Curry Noodles with Cockles II)


Sorry, showing off last week menu... it was all in a rush and not too happy with the photo... I wish I poured more gravy to make the photo more appetising! Anyway, can only tell you that it was delicious! I didn't follow any specific recipe but just using whatever in hand.

Serve 3-4 persons
INGREDIENTS:
3 Shallots*
2 cloves Garlic*
1/4" Ginger*
(* blended)

Mixed Spices (Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamon & Star Anise)
2 tbsp Curry Powder
200g Cockles
1 cup Beef Stock
1 cup Coconut Milk

Fish Balls
Salt
1 kg Fresh Yellow Noodles

Bean Sprout - rinse with hot water
Garnishes - Lime, Chilies, fried onion

METHOD:
1. Heat some oil & stir fry mixed spices & blended ingredients until fragrant.
Add in curry powder & some water; stir until fragrant.
Add in beef stock, coconut milk & enough water & stir until boiling.
Add in cockles, fish balls and salt.
Let it continue boiling until cooked.
2. Serve blanched noodles with curry gravy, topped with bean sprout & garnishes.

Sorry lah ya, ni menu minggu lepas.... tak dan nak publish... gambo pun kurang memuaskan, tak nampak pun kuah nya... org rumah pepagi kan lapor... kelam-kabut snap apa yg sempat dah ler jadi camni.... Banyak menu2 yg Along nak kongsikan tapi selalu jer tak sempat nak berposing bagai, akhir nya terlepas peluang nak kongsi kat blog ni. Takpa lah, apa pun kita kongsikan resepi yg sedap ni....

Serve 3-4 persons
BAHAN2:
3 ulas Bwg Merah*
2
ulas Bwg Putih*
1/4" Halia*
(* blend)

Rempah Tumis (Kulit Kayu Manis, Pelaga, Cengkih & Bg Lwg)
2 sb Rempah Kari
200g Kerang
1 cwn Stok Daging
1
cwn Santan
Fish Balls
Garam
1 kg Mi Kuning

Taugeh - bilas dgn air panas
Bahan Tabur - Limau, Cili & Bwg Goreng

CARA2:
1. Panaskan minyak & tumis Rempah Tumis & bhn blend sehingga wangi. Masukkan rempah kari & sedikit air; kacau sehingga wangi. Masukkan stok daging, santan & air secukup nya, kacau sehingga mendidh.
Masukkan kerang, fish balls & garam. Masak sehingga naik rasa.
2. Hidangkan mi yg di celur dgn kuah, taugeh & bhn tabur.

  2. Suka kerang..tpi jarang dpt mkn...mee tok pun jarang mkn...mun teringin beli jak...mun kmk masak ekot apa bhn yg ada dlm stok..mmg lupa mok ingt balit bhn2...bak kata org tua2...masak main tikam2 jak...xda sukatan..:-)
