My children like Lemon Chicken & we used to take away from the club restaurant upon fetching them from karate class. This time I tried to make myself.... not sure the same...! No one gave any comment, so you can guess what it means...huhu...
Anyway, herewith sharing the recipe (after searching here & there, I ended up with whatever I felt like throwing in.
INGREDIENTS: 1 whole Chicken Breast - chopped to small pieces 1 tsp Black Pepper powder 1 tbsp Rice Flour 1 tbsp Plain Flour Custard Flour - for coating Salt METHOD: 1. Mix all ingredients except custard flour. Heat up oil for deep frying. Roll battered chicken into custard flour & deep fry until golden. Dish up.
SAUCE: 1/2 Lemon - squeeze juice & slice the rind* (note: only used 1/4 lemon for rind. Remove the white part which has bitter taste.) 1 cup Water* 1 tbsp Custard Flour* Honey, Sugar & Salt* (* mixed) 1 tbsp Butter
- Melt butter & add in * mixture. - Boil until translucent. - Pour on top of fried chicken. - Serve hot.
