I just wanted to have something different, so I came up with this Kurma version which does not use coconut cream (Santan) at all but still rich and creamy.

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 Chicken - cut to smaller pieces
1/2 Big Onion*
5-6 Shallots*
2 cloves Garlic*
5 Green Chilies*
Few Bird-Eye Chilies*
3 tbsp Kurma Powder* (* blended)
1/2 tbsp Tamarind paste - add some water & strain seed/pulps
METHOD:
1. Heat up a scoop of oil.
2. Fry blended ingredients until fragrant.
3. Add in chicken & cover until tender.
4. Add in tamarind juice & boil for a while.
5. Dish up
