I just want to share this special kuih as I believe some people may not have seen it before. It is Sarawak traditional way of cooking and wrapping glutinous rice with "Daun Nyirik" which usually served during special occasions like Hari Raya, etcs. This one is made by my friend's mother. She brought few pieces for breakfast with the office gang and I was happily brought home two pieces. My husband ate one of it & only one left for posing here.
There are two types, with and without filling. The plain ones are served with curry/rendang and served during special occasions.
