Fried Tempe

Tempe is fermented soya bean cake, originated by Jawa people in Malaysia but has become popular food amongst all races in Malaysia nowadays. There are variety of dishes that you can cook with Tempe but today I felt to have it deep fried.

INGREDIENTS:
1 packet Tempe - cut to smaller size
1 tbsp Plain Flour
1 bsp Rice Flour
1 tsp Chilli paste
Salt

METHOD:
1. Mix all ingredients (except Tempe) with sufficiet water to form smooth runny batter.
Dip Tempe in the batter & deep fry until golden.

2. Serve with rice or as snacks.
