Young Banana Masak Lemak

We had three banana trees fruiting at the same time & yesterday we cut down one of the trees. We shared the banana fruits with our relatives and I kept one tier for ourselves. While waiting for it to be a little bit riper for making banana fritters, I made some Masak Lemak above.

Several Young Banana - peeled & cut
10 Bird-eye Chilli*
3 Shallots* (* pounded)
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 bowl Coconut Milk
1 pc Dry Tamarind piece

1. Rub banana with salt to remove its sticky glue and then rinse off.
2. Place all except tamarind in a pot & keep stirring until boiled and banana is tender.
Add in tamarind and cook few more minutes.
Off fire & ready.
