Almond Cake

This is a healthy cake as it is made of egg white, nut & oil free. I've got the recipe recently when visited a colleague's Hari Raya open house. His wife Fathirah was so kind to share the recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
325 ground Almond* (or any nuts)
2 tbsp Flour*
½ cup Sugar* (* mixed together)
7 Egg whites (230g)
¼ cup Sugar
Nutella spread
Chocolate fudge

METHOD:
1. Beat egg white until foamy.
Add in ¼ cup sugar gradually & beat until stiff.
Mix in the remaining ingredients.

2. Pour into ungreased lined 8" round tin.
Bake 180C for 30-40 minutes.

3. Slice into two parts & sandwich with Nutella spread.
Cover top & side cake with chocolate fudge & deco as you like.

    akak nak tanya nutella spread tu boleh beli kat mana atau kena buat sendiri-yatie ampang sel

  2. Wsalam. Nutella tu ialah jenama utk cocolat+hazelnut spread. Boleh beli kat mana2 supermarket. Tak susah nak dapatkan. Selalu nya di jual bahagian yg jual peanut butter & jem.

    I don't quite remember by now which recipe I used. You can try any fudge recipe that I used for other recipes. You can also try melt one bar of chocolate and add few tbsp cream.
