Pumpkin Masak Lemak with Prawn

Delicious kampung style dish....

INGREDIENTS:
½ small Pumpkin - peel, cored, cubed & steamed
1 cup Prawn - cleaned
10 small Chilli Padi*

4 Shallots* (* blended)
1 Lemongrass - knocked
½ pot Coconut Milk
½ tsp Turmeric powder
Salt

METHOD:
1. Place all ingredients in a pot & boil.

2. Serve with white rice.

  1. I planned of making some the other day. Bot the pumpkin and when i cut it, its dry. I guess i must have chosen the dry ones for halloween! lol.

    But the truth is iv never cooked pumpkin before. ;)

  2. Farina, I never bought pumpkin for halloween. Is it too dry to be eaten? Must be nice for garden decoration instead...hehe, just guessing.
    Matured pumkin is also nice for Pengat Labu.... yummy.
