Beef Parcel

In Sarawak, this beef recipe is cooked in a bamboo but I turned it into a parcel, which is faster & simpler to cook and particularly suitable for small portion.

- sliced thinly
3 Shallots*
1 cloves Garlic*
1/2" Ginger*
1 Lemongras*
1 each Red/Green Chili*
Some Chili Padi*
(* pounded)
2 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Tamarind Paste
Salt & Sugar

Mix all & wrap in a foil.
Bake in an oven or in a pot until cooked.


  1. Roz, macam interesting aje. What is the oven temp tht you used and for how long?

    I baked mine in AMC pot (5 ply stainles steel). If you use oven, 200C should be ok.
