This is a healthy way to cook chicken without adding any oil. I visited someone's house few days ago and saw her cooking this way - so I tried it today and it tastes delicious...! Also, the fragrant spread whole house while it was steamed in the pot. She's from Indonesia and she told me that she hardly uses oil in her daily cooking. That inspires me to try to do the same considering my cholesterol level is climbing up....

Thanks for sharing this recipe...made it yesterday...yup..it's yummy eventhough without using the cooking oil!
ReplyDeleteMaz,
ReplyDeleteThanks for trying. Fats from the chicken should be enough to flavour the dish. At least we reduce the oil level in it... (hehe... consoling my ownself from guilts... need to start thinking for lower calory food & this one helps a bit).
