Source: Sister-In-Law (Kak Lang) but simplified
INGREDIENTS:
1 packet Jelly Powder (13g packet)
1 liter Water
250g Sugar
6 Pandan Leaves - blended for juice
1 Coconut --> produced 1 cup thick Santan
2 Eggs
Green color (optional, without it the bottom will be colorless)
METHOD:
1. Boil jelly & water until dissolved.
Add in sugar & stir until dissolved.
2. Slightly beat egg, santan, pandan juice & color.
Add into the boiled jelly.
Pour into mould & cool at room temperature.
Chill to completely set.

ReplyDeleteI used several brands, cap burung, cap bunga ros, cap purple mermaid.... all gave the same result. I do not think the brand really matters. Actually I'm also trying not to do any brand promotion in my blog and that's why I don't mention brand name in most of my recipe unless it is really necessary. Hope this helps.
orite..most of the time i use cap swallow globe /spore 10gm cmpur i liter air kerana tak pernah mgecewakan.Baru2 ni jumpa swallow sun /indon 7gm cmpur 900ml air,princess mermaid paket putih/hijau 25 gm cmpur 1 liter air juga-i beli tp dua2 tu belum cuba guna..i guess nk dpt kekentalan elok kena ikut arahan pd kotak kan..Tp i belum pernah jumpa paket 13gm.Pernah kwn i cuba buat puding karamel dia sukat 10gm drpd kotak 90gm jeli nona tp x jd.So i suggest dia guna cap burung yg i biasa guna :)
ReplyDeletebuat ni lagi utk marhaban taman..ada tip supaya jd dua lapis yg separated?Bila campuran telur,santan,pandan dituangkan ke dlm boiled jelly terus mati api tanpa kacau ke atau kacau biar boil semula?Saya buat cara kedua,adakah itu yg menyebabkan jadi tiada berlapis.tq

Agar2 ni jadi berlapis sbb ukuran santan kurang drpd ratio air. Kalau santan lebih, maka lapisan tak jadi & bukan sebab cara ia di masak.
