INGREDIENTS:
1 plate of Dried Wild mushrooms
2 Shallots*
Some Chili Padi*
1 Green Chili*
2" Turmeric Root* (*pounded) (can replace with 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder)
1 bowl of Thin Coconut Milk
Salt
METHOD:
Place all in a pot & stir all the time until boil & mushrooms is cooked.
Serve with white rice.

Cendawan Kukur Masak Lemak Cili Api
BAHAN2:
1 piring Cendawan Kukur
2 bj Bwg Merah*
Sedikit Cili Padi*
1 bj Cili Hijau*
2" Kunyit Hidup* (*pounded) (atau 1/2 st serbuk kunyit)
1 mangkuk Santan Cair
Garam
CARA2:
Masukkan kesemua bhn ke dlm periuk & kacau sehingga mendidih & cendawan sudah lembut.
Hidangkan dgn nasi putih & lauk sampingan yg lain.

teringin nak makan tapi belum pernah jumpa..ramai yang kat sedap..kita ni cendawan2 memang suka sanagt..
tak pernah jumpa lagi cendawan tu kat sini..

ReplyDeleteLove this dish very much as I grew up eating cendawan kukur cooked in every possible way by my late mom.One of my favourite is to cook the cendawan with sambal tumis and add an egg or two to thicken up the sambal.As I live in NZ,it is almost impossible to get cendawan kukur but I guess,it is also quite difficult to get them in Malaysia nowadays especially with the use of pesticides in places where this fungi would normally grow.What a shame!I really missed them.

There are still a lot in Miri becoz the local like to eat this. They assure me no pesticides and safe to consume. Wow, another suggestion which I can imagine surely nice. Will try your suggestion one day.
