Apam Nasi

 Iftar menu on day 14 yesterday.... very soft and spongy... cheap ingredients and produces big batch.... but you need to plan early as it requires some fermentation.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup Cooked Rice
¾ cup Sugar
cup Water
A pinch of Salt
1 cup Rice Flour
1 cup Flour
1 tsp Instant Yeast
Coloring
 
METHOD:
1. Blend all ingredients, except yeast, until smooth.
2. Mix in yeast and leave to ferment for 2-3 hours.
3. Color as you like & pour into small cups.
4. Steam for 30 min with medium fire.

BAHASA MALAYSIA VERSION
Apam Nasi ni kuih yg kebiasaan nya di jual di pasar2 Melayu dan Cina di Malaysia. Bahan2 yg di gunakan tak susah dan murah yg sedia ada di dapur. Nak buat pun mudah cuma perlu di perap lama, oleh itu kena rancang awal2 lah kalau nak buat supaya hidangan siap di waktu yg di kehendakki.

Along Nampak resepi ni di facebook Norhayati Salleh dan bila google memang dah ramai yg mencuba nya... tak dapat pula nak trace empunya asal nya. Terima-kasih semua dan juga tuan punya resipi ni, memang lembut dan gebu, secukup rasa.

Along kukus guna cawan lompang plastic kecil... sebabkan nakkan ia mekar, Along guna api yg kuat... tau apa jadi? Acuan tu cair.... so Along terpaksa buang jer sebab takut termakan bahan kimia dari bekas plastic tu. Batch yg kedua, Along guna api perlahan sbb takut kejadian yg sama.... so anda hati2 ya kalau guna bekas plastic untuk mengukus kuih.

Bilangan: 2 dozen
BAHAN2:
1 cwn Nasi Sejuk
¾ cwn Gula
1¼ cwn Air
Secubit Garam
1 cwn Tepung Beras
1 cwn Tepung Gandum
1 sk Yis Segera
Pewarna

CARA2:
1. Blend kesemua bahan2, kecuali yis, sehingga sebati.
2. Gaulkan yis & perap 2-3 jam.
3. Warnakan & tuang ke dlm bekas2 kecil.
4. Kukus selama 30min dgn api sederhana.
